Two Arab Digital Firms Team-Up To Provide Facebook Games

rmsilogoThis week during the Dubai World Game Expo, Maysalward (MRD) and Rotana Media Services Interactive (RMSi) announced plans to launch the first localized Facebook game .With this launch Maysalward takes another bold step into the Gaming market, the Jordanian based company launching their own Facebook Game hand in hand with Rotana Media Services Group ,which will handle commercial management of Maysalward coming Facebook Games.

The first game, Trix, is will be released to the market soon. Trix is a famous card game in the Middle East. Game fans are lining up waiting for the launch on Facebook with thousands of users playing in the first week of beta testing version.

TRIX game currently is available on mobile phones and online throughout GSM operators in the Middle east. In the Facebook version, MRD and RMSi will first launch the single game play Trix then later this year will launch the MultiPlayer Trix where players can choose a real-time turnbased game challenging their friends on facebook. Scores and statistics are tracked to show players where they rank against competitors and will available for publishing on the users Wall.

Nour Kkhair Founder and GM of Maysalward said” the game is the first MRD localize game to go live on a social networking site, and added that “many more MRD games are in development and will be ready to launch on Facebook later this year ;thanks to RMSi experience and strength we will manage to reach wide range of facebook users on different social networks”

RMSI Managing Director Mr. Wissam Yamout confirmed his belief in the localization of gaming content “We’ve been a leader in the TV and mobile interactivity for many years, and we’re happy to fuse our rich media experience with Maysalward game experience and launch Localized games to Facebook users ”
