FREE TRAINING ON LINUX: 1st of JUNE in DUBAI

global_8440248jpegAfter the 1st meet-up on May 18th for UAELUG, United Arab Emirates Linux User group, everyone in the room felt the enthusiasm to keep organizing it and move forward towards the objective which was confirmed today to meet on June 1st.

In my interview the Imthiaz, group’s co-founder, he has mentioned that training session will be organized soon and they meant it. Today, the group decided to have two training sessions of different level agendas:

Training 1 (Linux for Newbies):

  • Installing Ubuntu 9.04
  • Working with KDE
  • Working with Gnome

After that the 2nd level comes in…

Training 2 (Linux for Intermediate):

  • Install / compile software
  • Connect / share files on network
  • Making Linux your media center

The team is ready to help everyone around and bringing your notebook / laptop along is in good help; team will be distribute LIVE CD for immediate practice and you can keep for home training and practices after that, so you can call it freebie.
