After deleting  the fanpage of Esmail Haneea the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority from The Islamic Resistances Movement (HAMAS.)  (Haneea is now the acting prime minister of the government in besieged Gaza strip only, as the occupied West bank territories are under the Palestinian President Abbas’ own government) Now facebook deleted the fanpage of Khaled Meshaal the political leader of Hamas who currently live in Syria.
The deletion of Meshaal’s fanpage happened around 2 weeks ago, and probably was not reported by the media in the Arab world unlike Haneea’s story.

On 27. July 2009 Khaled Meshaal fanpage had around 17,000 fans. However supporters of Haneea, have recently setup a new fanpage that quickly reached 3,219 fans through viral invites  – seems like around 1000 fans joined in the last few days- .

Facebook has recently acquired FriendFeed which caused an outrage by many FriendFeed users.
