AppData which is an independent application traffic tracking for the Facebook Platform, have released interesting numbers on the highest gainers among applications that have under 1 million monthly active users (MAU). And in that list was an Arabic application that sends season greetings to your friends so that you don’t have worry about forgetting any of your friends.
It is a pretty neat idea, and in the past month it has gained – get this – 8,728%, shooting up from over 42,000 MAU to over 160,000 MAU. This increase was mostly fueled by the Eid, and growth has slowed down significantly according to the graph below:
I guess they will have to wait for the coming Eid to see another boost in MAU, unless if they update it or do some clever work with how users can apply and share it among their friends.
