OperaMini4.2-logo Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Libya Are The Top 3 Arab Countries Using Opera Mini, The Mobile Web Browser.Opera Mini is one of the world’s most popular Mobile Web browsers with over 20 million users. It comes with many distinguished features such as: It brings you the full web experience with full web view instead of the standard mobile view on your handset. And it is about two to three times faster than any other mobile browser because Opera software process and compress each webpage request from Opera Mini on its servers.

Stats experts at Opera were kind to send us some stats of how Opera is doing in the Arab world upon our request: Egypt has the highest users base then Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Libya. As for the mostly popular sites, Google was ranked first on the top 3 countries, facebook ranked second in Egypt and Libya, while Yahoo! ranked third in Egypt, second in KSA and 4th in Libya. Three Arabic sites were also on the top 10 sites and they are all sports related: filgoal.com owned by Sarmady a subsidiary of Vodafone.
