First of It’s Kind: Dubai Int’l Film Festival Partners with SAE Institute

dubai_film_festival_logoSAE Institute, the world’s largest creative media educator, today proudly announced it will partner with acclaimed Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) as ‘Education Partner’ during the event’s sixth edition this year.

Under the terms of the agreement, which is the first of its kind in the region and indeed the world, SAE will dedicate film crews to provide constant vision and images for Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF’s) new media ambitions to the whole world.

Leveraging SAE’s technological expertise, senior film students and key staff will provide cinema lovers around the world access to DIFF09’s events, seminars, interviews with celebrity guests, and take in the glamour of the red carpet, employing ubiquitous internet portals such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.

Anthony Frantzis, Head of Marketing and Strategic Alliances, SAE Dubai, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to gain access to one of the region’s foremost film events and gather experience working under deadline while packaging a product. As much as possible, we incorporate hands-on, experiential training into our programs so that students are ready to step into the media industry with little additional instruction. We are looking forward to assisting DIFF reach a much broader audience across the world.”

SAE will broadcast the proceedings on a dedicated DIFF youtube channel to open the festival for all.”
