Rootspace and Baraka Consulting are organizing the first interactive media conference in the Middle East, 4SITE Forum 2009, bringing together investors, innovators, and entrepreneurs interested in economic development and social impact from Lebanon and the region. The event is taking place next week in-conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week.
4SITE Forum 2009 will be held on Tuesday, November 17th and Wednesday, November 18th in Beirut at the Bait Al-Tabib Conference Center. It will be the first event in a series, with future 4SITE Forums taking place around the region.
4SITE Forum 2009 will include 14 panels and workshops featuring university professors, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, social activists, and media experts. The event will connect high-profile panelists and attendees from across the business and social entrepreneurship world. Speakers at the event include Mr. Rabea Ataya, CEO of Bayt.com; Mr. Joi Ito, CEO of Creative Commons; and Mr. John Wilbanks, CEO of Science Commons.
At the event, participants will be able to utilize open source, mobile, and social media technology. The sessions will be available on the 4SITE Forum website as well as streamed live through Twitter and blogging.
This event to be accessible to various groups and people. Tickets are available between $40-$150 , with discounts available for groups and those wanting to volunteer at the Forum. Tickets are available at Virgin Megastore locations in Lebanon and at Virgin online ticketing.
