It’s not Aishti nor Massimo Dutti, it’s Google-inspired designs

No surprise to all that Google is trying to acquire everything digital or transforming thing to digital like ancient books. But entering the fashion business acquiring fashion designers creativity is yet to be unique and bold move. Simply, many websites and organizations use Zazzle-way of branding T-shirts, mugs, and office supplies for internal use, sales, and gifts or for sale. Google went far beyond that.

During Fashion Fund event last year which is meant to supports emerging designers, Vogue and the Council of Fashion Designers of America asked each participating designer to create a one-of-a-kind item inspired by Google in some way — whether through our logo’s colors, technology or our commitment to equal access to information.  Google in return transformed 10 of the finalists’ designs into iGoogle Artists themes last October.

Google didn’t stop here and loved to see fashion pieces in person — people wearing them; Google is debuting three of their favorite designs from this challenge. These three featured designers have customized their original designs for a broader audience, and they’re making them available to the public to purchase for a limited time. Check out this page to learn more about the items, the designers and how they were so called “inspired by Google”.
