Demo Camp Amman is just around the corner the event will take place in Amman, Jordan on May 1oth at the Zara Expo from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm and is free to all. This is a very exciting opportunity for anybody that has an idea and would like to demo it to the tech community, companies and investors in the MENA region.
The deadline for submissions is closing near and the last day to submit your demo is on April 14th. You can submit your demo here, after which a committee will be formed to choose from the submitted demos. If your demo was selected you will be contacted and will be provided up to 15 minutes to present it.
The event is open to anyone from all over the MENA region and although products at idea stage are welcomed, preference will be given to actual working demos.
Demo camp Amman is organized by O-minds who are an information technology company with a strong focus on web development. They demoed their hugely successful FlashFirebug Firefox free plugin extension that allows developers to debug AS3 flash files on the web in Dubai Demo Camp the previous year.
After speaking briefly with Mr. Ashraf Amayreh, O-minds CEO earlier today he informed me that the FlashFireBug plugin is downloaded around 3,000 times daily. All thanks to the Demo Camp, and hopefully we will get to see another successful product launch from the Amman Demo Camp.
