How to create effective Social Media campaigns

Social Media is not a new medium, however it needs a new approach. Success in Social Media campaigns entirely depends on type of approach and consistency of messages brands tend to send out. Therefore, it is critical to get the sense of purpose right upon deciding to launch your brand on any social channels.

I was invited to an event in London back in February 2012, to speak about effective use of Social Media and successful Twitter campaigns.  That event led to number of other invites to run workshops and mentor businesses in relation to their Social Media marketing and brand positioning.

In one of the event I was, very unexpectedly, asked to give an interview about top five tips to use Twitter:

– Be creative
– Be friendly
– Be collaborative
– Be engaging
