Peace on Facebook Launches: Promoting Friendships Between Muslims and …

Facebook_LogoFacebook and a Stanford University lab specializing in innovative and persuasive technology have launched Peace on Facebook http://peace.facebook.com. But does it have the Road-map for Palestinian-Israeli conflict that we have been seeking for the past 60 years?

This platform aims to show friend connections created each day between people of different countries, religions, and political affiliations. Also, it allows you to share your thoughts on what do you think about peace and technology? Do you think we are moving towards a better place?

In Geographic Category you can find:

  • Israel-Palestine Connections

In Religion Category you can find:

  • Sunni-Shiite Connections
  • Muslim-Jewish Connections
  • Muslim-Christian Connections

In Political Category you can’t find any listing of connections, probably because we have too many in the Middle East.  Tell us what do you think of this tool? Do you think technology will help?

  1. It’s great that facebook are doing something to help out, and the statistics are really cool!

I didn’t even know they did these things… How long have they been doing that?

I know about the “Causes” etc, which also is good…
